AI Integration for Web Applications
My AI integration work focuses on connecting a model to a defined product task and validating the boundary around its output. Project examples include GitHub issue recommendations with Gemma 3 27B, lead scoring with GPT-5-nano, and structured intake processing with Amazon Bedrock.

At a glance
- OpenMate combines deterministic GitHub issue selection with Gemma 3 27B recommendations.
- LeadIntel Pro uses GPT-5-nano in an AI-assisted lead-scoring workflow.
- An AWS Lambda and Bedrock integration returns structured intake JSON without diagnosing.
Connect models to bounded product tasks
A model integration should have a clear input, a useful output contract, and a defined failure path. In OpenMate, deterministic application logic filters real GitHub issues before Gemma 3 27B explains fit and suggests investigation steps. The system retains canonical issue identity in application code rather than asking a model to invent it.
LeadIntel Pro uses GPT-5-nano in a lead-scoring workflow attached to structured lead lists. A separate clinical intake assistant uses AWS Lambda and Amazon Bedrock to turn intake information into structured JSON; its scope is information structuring, not diagnosis.
Validation, grounding, and server boundaries
AI features need ordinary software engineering controls. External input is bounded, model output is validated, and credentials stay on the server. OpenMate checks generated repository paths against the actual repository context and grounds follow-up answers in the analyzed codebase information.
These boundaries do not make model output infallible. They make the product's responsibilities clearer: application code owns identity, permissions, and data contracts, while the model contributes synthesis within the task it was given.
